Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Stephen Aiello is a psychiatric nurse practitioner at SA Psychiatry and is board certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). He began his training at Purdue University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He went on to earn his Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden University and received a Post Masters certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

History of Helping Others

For over 15 years, Mr. Aiello has worked in emergency medicine as a paramedic, then as a flight nurse while working part-time as an emergency nurse working with patients in various settings. After seeing his colleague suffer from depression, anxiety, SUD, and PTSD, he made the decision to work towards helping individuals who are suffering from these mental health disorders and has committed to dedicating the remainder of his career for this cause. “I had always found myself helping and supporting colleagues when they were in distress.”

Specialized Behavioral Health Care

Mr. Aiello specializes in behavioral health and treating children and adults with psychiatric disorders. He has gained extensive experience delivering tele-health services to patients and working as a mobile psychiatric unit to help improve access to care for these patients.
